I've been a creative tinkerer my entire life - my earliest digital design tool for creating art was Microsoft Word on my family's shared computer. I love learning new tools that expand my ability to create digital experiences. I got my economics degree from UC Berkeley, where I developed an interest in how human incentives shape systems at scale - which helps me think about design and digital products at the individual and systemic level.

In addition to designing, I'm currently getting my MBA at UCLA and learning to surf!

What coworkers say

She is fast to catch on, needs little guidance to execute well, and is extremely thorough in her delivery, accounting for all sorts of edge cases beyond the requirements, really representing a user-centered mentality. She is highly collaborative, talking what can often be off-beat or experimental guidance and turning it into highly actionable designs, and brings her own independence and creativity to the solution, typically synthesizing better than I've expected from any design ask.

- Tim Smith, Senior Product Manager at Microsoft

I'm consistently impressed with her creativity, clarity, and thoughtful application of design principles to ensure that we build a solid long-term scalable design. Megan has also been incredibly collaborative, translating PM and Engineering feedback into thoughtful iterations and helping the team stay aligned through clear, well-structured design flows.

She has made a real impact on this project and the team.

- Anmol Bhatia, Senior Product Manager at Microsoft

Megan consistently delivers thoughtful, high-quality designs with a sharp eye for detail and a strong focus on what really matters to customers. Her work on modernizing the Bing Places for Business portal - especially the improvements to listing pages and analytics - has made the experience more useful and intuitive. The team really values her steady drive to keep making things better.

- Kelly Yoo, Principal Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft

Since she's come onboard, we noticed a significant positive difference. She's super fast at making changes, iterating and coming up with new ideas. She communicates clearly and often with all the stakeholders. She proactively looks for feedback on her work (e.g. asking the team, presenting at product reviews). She often comes up with several options. She expresses her preference while still leaving time and space for others to do the same.
